The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago participated in the Royal Kathina Ceremony at Wat Dhammaram in Chicago

On November 3, 2024, Consul General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai and spouse, Vice Consul Noppharut Baonongbau and spouse, together with Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, the Director of Thai Trade Center, Chicago, Mrs. Sirima Yuviengjaya, Deputy Director of TAT, Chicago Office and staff members participated in the Royal Kathina Ceremony at Wat Dhammaram in Chicago.
 
The Royal Kathina Ceremony was presided over by Phra Rajadhammavedhi, the Abbot of Wat Buddha Dhamma, and Mrs. Sinee Thecha was the president of the Kathina ceremony. During the event, the Consul-General and officials joined the Thai community in the Royal Kathina procession by making merits, offering alms and robes to the monks. Later, the monks blessed the participants to conclude the ceremony.
