The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New York Office, participated in the Chicago Travel and Adventure Show 2024, held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, from January 13-14, 2024.
Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, and Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, the Director of Thai Trade Center, Chicago, along with the staff, visited the event and the Thailand tourism booth. Mr. Prin Pongjaroen, Assistant Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, welcomed the delegation and provided information about the event.
On this occasion, the Consulate General and the TAT's New York office discussed travel trends in Thailand's tourism and promoted Thailand as a tourism destination for Midwest travelers. Additionally, they explored cooperation strategies and joint activities to support Thai tourism and community activities in the Midwest region.
The Chicago Travel and Adventure Show is an event where visitors can explore a variety of vacation options. It features over 450 exhibitors, including top destinations and travel providers. The show offers expert travel advice through over 60 travel seminars, hands-on activities, and a global beats stage for entertainment. Moreover, this year the event also featured Thai music and dance performances from the Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute (TCFAI).
