On Monday, 11 April 2022, Consul-General Nitirooge Phoneprasert, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, presented a cash prize of 16,000 Thai Baht to a graphic designer in Hyderabad, Mr. G. Shahidhar Reddy who received the 1st runner-up prize in the logo design competition on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand – India Diplomatic Relations at the ITC Kohenur in Hyderabad, the state capital of Telangana.

The logo design competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Embassy of India in Bangkok to promote awareness among the public on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and India. The three winners of the logo design competition were selected among 798 contestants based on their artistry and creativity that best reflected the excellent ties between Thailand and India. The winners were (1) Ms. Chanida Hengkhuntod from Thailand, (2) Mr. G. Shahidhar Reddy, from Hyderabad, India and (3) Mr. Somchai Nilkaew from Thailand.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations on 1 August 1947, Thailand and India have been enjoying the cordial and friendly bilateral relations with profound historical and cultural linkages over the past 75 years.
