ACBA shows keen interest in Argentina’s soybean business

On 28 February 2023, Ambassador Krit Tankanarat, as Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Buenos Aires (ACBA), hosted a meeting between ACBA Ambassadors and Mr. Gustavo Grobocopatel, agricultural engineer and founder of Grupo Los Grobo.

Argentina is one of the top global soybean exporters and providers of soybean meal and oil, and ASEAN is one of the largest markets for Argentina’s soybean meals and pellets. The meeting offered an opportunity to get an insightful information and deepen collaboration opportunities in the soybean business, with regard to the farming and biotechnology techniques developed by top Argentine farming companies. This meeting was part of the ACBA series of activities with an aim at reinforcing ASEAN cooperation with leading private sector in Argentina.
