On 23 December 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy together with The National Federation of Motion Pictures and Contents Associations of Thailand selected two Thai films: “Friend Zone” produced by GDH 559 Co., Ltd. and “Bangkok Dark Tales” produced by U72 STUDIO Co., Ltd. to participate in the Brunei Film Blitz 2022, hosted by Origin Artistic Management, Brunei, on 15 – 28 December 2022 at the Mahakarya Institute of the Arts Asia.

        The event was the first to be held since the Covid-19 Pandemic with the screening of 22 movies from 11 countries.

        The objective of Brunei Film Blitz is to strengthen the education of various cultures through motion pictures. “Friend Zone”, a famous romantic comedy from Thailand depicts the story of two best friends whose relationship is on the borderline of being friends and lovers while they take you on the journey of different places and cultures in ASEAN region. “Bangkok Dark Tales”, the frightening and haunted collection of three tales that take place in Bangkok, the kind of terror that guarantee Thailand’s trademark.
