On 16 November 2023, H.E. Mr Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of Thailand, attended the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework Leaders’ Program in San Francisco. The Meeting was hosted by the Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr., President of the United States. Attended were leaders and high- level representatives from 14 IPEF Partner Countries, namely Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, United States, and Viet Nam.

On this occasion, IPEF Leaders’ Statement on Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity was issued, acknowledging the continued progress made under IPEF, particularly the signing of the Agreement relating to Supply Chain Resilience and the substantial conclusion of the negotiations under the Clean Economy and Fair Economy Pillars. At the same time, IPEF Partners will continue to work towards a mutually beneficial Trade Pillar outcome. In addition, the IPEF Critical Minerals Dialogue was launched to promote strengthening critical minerals supply chains and enhance regional economic competitiveness. Additional initiatives to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest will also be explored.
