Announcement of the Recipients of the Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Scholarship 2021

On 29 November 2021, the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation under the Royal Patronage (PMAF) held a joint press conference at Siriraj Medical Library, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, to announce the names of the recipients of the Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Scholarship for 2021. On this occasion, Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Director-General of the Department of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, in the capacity as Chair of the PMAF Public Relations Sub-Committee, joined Emeritus Clinical Professor Supat Vanichyakarn, Secretary-General of the PMAF; Professor Vicharn Panich, Chairman of Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Steering Committee; Emeritus Professor Somphop Limpongsanurak, Chairman of Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Selection Committee; and Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Chairman of Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Working Committee, at the press conference.

The five recipients of the Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Scholarship are as follows:
1. Ms. Nicharee Monkongpitukkul Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University
2. Mr. Nontapat Sukhonpanich Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University
3. Mr. Pharanyoo Osotthanakorn Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University
4. Mr. Phurin Areesawangkit Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University
5. Mr. Yossawat Suwanlikit Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University

All the recipients of the Prince Mahidol award will receive a one-year scholarship for research study, professional training or community development abroad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organise a preparatory briefing for the recipients before their departure as well as instruct the respective Royal Thai Embassies to contact and facilitate the recipients during their stay abroad.
