Regarding the recent tragic incident of multiple train collision in Balsore Dirstrict, Odisha, on 2 June 2023 which claimed 230 lives and left hundreds injured, the Royal Thai Government has sent messages of condolences as follows:

1. Message of condolences from H.E. Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand to H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India

Excellency,

I have learned with deep sorrow of the deaths and injuries caused by the tragic multiple train collision in Balasore District, Odisha, on 2 June 2023.

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency and the bereaved families of this devastating incident. We solemnly grieve with the people of the Republic of India and send our best wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
