On October 9, 2025, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, presided over the wreath-laying ceremony in commemoration of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Great Memorial Day, October 23, 2025, at Wat New York Dhammaram, New York City.

The ceremony comprised of the laying of a wreath in tribute, the delivery of a remembrance statement, and a moment of silence before the royal portrait of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Great, in solemn remembrance of His Majesty’s boundless grace and benevolence.

Officials and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General,together with representatives from Team Thailand in New York, attended the ceremony with deep respect and profound gratitude for His Majesty’s immeasurable kindness and enduring legacy.
