Ms. Chayika Wongnapachant, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, representing the Minister of Foreign Affairs, led a delegation of Thai private sector representatives to attend the NVIDIA GTC 2025 event in San Jose, United States. The event provided an opportunity for Thai entrepreneurs to expand their international business networks, enhance their competitiveness in advanced technology, and strengthen Thailand’s startup ecosystem. The delegation also aimed to attract AI investors to increase investment in Thailand.

On March 18, Ms. Chayika attended a keynote speech and AI technology presentation by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. Following this, she held discussions with NVIDIA regarding the development of sovereign AI in Thailand. The talks focused on adopting NVIDIA’s advanced AI architecture and collaborating with CMKL University to establish an AI Institute. This initiative aims to strengthen Thailand’s AI capabilities and support the country’s AI sovereignty.

Ms. Chayika also delivered the opening remarks at the Thai Tech Connect - Business Networking Dinner, emphasizing the Thai government’s commitment to supporting the private sector, particularly in the semiconductor and AI industries. She highlighted the increasing global demand for new technologies and stressed the need for Thailand to adapt by fostering new economic growth engines and attracting foreign investment in the technology sector. Additionally, she underlined the government’s efforts to develop Thailand’s digital infrastructure, with the Prime Minister positioning the digital economy as a key driver of national economic growth.

During the event, Thai startup entrepreneurs and leading venture capitals engaged with successful Thai private sector based in Silicon Valley from various industries. They exchanged insights on expanding businesses to the United States and building networks. The participating Thai private sector companies included Trillion Sure, Ocare Health Hub, Crypto City Connext, iBOTNOI, ViaLink, Perceptra, Singha Ventures, and S&J International, among others.
