The Right Honourable Mr. K P Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, will pay an Official Visit to Thailand during 1 - 5 April 2025 upon the invitation of H.E. Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister. The Thai Prime Minister will formally welcome Prime Minister of Nepal and the Nepali delegation at the Government House for bilateral discussions and to witness the signing of various Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding.

This historic visit represents the first Official Visit by the Prime Minister of Nepal to Thailand since the establishment of the diplomatic ties between Thailand and Nepal in 1959. It will be an opportunity for both sides to engage in comprehensive discussions to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors, particularly in trade and investment, agriculture, healthcare, tourism, and service industry. Thailand and Nepal will also explore possibilities to deepen people-to-people ties through enhanced tourism and cultural exchanges as well as human resource development initiatives.

Additionally, the two leaders will exchange perspectives on pressing global challenges, particularly climate change, and explore opportunities for cooperation within multilateral frameworks. This visit underscores the commitment of both nations to deepen their longstanding friendship and partnership for mutual benefit and regional prosperity.

Prime Minister of Nepal will also attend the 6th BIMSTEC Summit on 4 April 2025, which will be hosted by Thailand.
