On 20 March 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited the Department of Consular Affairs. He was welcomed by Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, and the department’s officials.

In addition to observing the public services provided by the Department, including passport services and legalization, the Foreign Minister held discussions with the Department’s executives on enhancing the protection and assistance of Thai nationals abroad, particularly during emergency situations, and on improving passport services, legalization, and visa services. The aim of the discussion was to further improve the Department’s efficiency in serving the public, advancing people-centric diplomacy.
