On 18 October 2024, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed with H.E. Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economy, Labour, and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg of the Federal Republic of Germany.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on the promotion of bilateral cooperation between Thailand and the State of Baden-Württemberg, especially in the economic and educational areas, including cooperation on AI in higher education and applied settings, data centers, as well as medical and pharmaceutical technologies. Both sides shared a vision to bring in companies, research institutes, alongside higher education and vocational institutes to create public-private partnerships as the driving force in those sectors.

In addition, the Minister of Economy, Labour, and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg expressed appreciation for the Thai side’s warm hospitality extended to her delegation, which comprises of both political and business high representatives during their visit to Thailand between 16 - 18 October 2024.
