On 12 April 2025, the Royal Thai Government dispatched a multi-agency humanitarian task force to help people affected by the recent earthquake in Mandalay, Myanmar. The city has suffered extensive damage from the earthquake on 28 March 2025, and is in urgent need of humanitarian aid. The task force is a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Thai Armed Forces, the Royal Thai Air Force, and the Ministry of Public Health.

The task force that was dispatched to Mandalay consists of the third batch of a building and repair unit from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, and Emergency Medical Team (EMT Type 1), along with a disease surveillance and control team, and an environmental health unit from the Ministry of Public Health. The Royal Thai Air Force is providing logistical support by transporting both engineering and medical teams, as well as essential supplies, which include medical equipment, medicine, and infrastructure support items such as tents, a clean water system, power generators, waste management and sanitation system, and communication devices. In addition, the Royal Thai Air Force delivered the relief supplies graciously provided by the Friends in Need (of "PA") Volunteers Foundation, to Myanmar for further distribution to those affected by the earthquake in Myanmar.

General Ukrit Boontanon, Deputy Commander in Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, representatives from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, the Royal Thai Air Force, the Ministry of Public Health, and Mr. Vorapun Srivoranart, Deputy Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were in attendance at the send-off ceremony to support the task force at Military Airport 2, Wing 6, Royal Thai Air Force Command.
