His Excellency Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, invited The Honourable Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, and spouse to pay a visit to Thailand. On this occasion, both sides held a bilateral discussion in the morning of 9 February 2023 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the bilateral cooperation in many areas, in particular the promotion of security and development of the border areas between Thailand and Malaysia including infrastructure connectivity projects. Both sides also exchanged views on the current situations in the region and cooperation under the ASEAN framework.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and spouse visited Thailand as guests of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 8 February 2023. They joined Prime Minister of Malaysia’s delegation during his official visit to the Kingdom during 9-10 February 2023.
