On October 11 th 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Los Angeles organized a volunteer activity to dedicate the merit to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, on the occasion of Nawamindra Maharaj Day.

Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand led the Royal Thai Consulate-General’s officials and staff to join the “Faith and Blue Community Festival” by distributing complimentary meals to local communities. The event was jointly organized by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and related organizations and community groups including the Thai community in Los Angeles namely: the Thai New Year Songkran Festival Committee, Thai Town
Council of Los Angeles, the Thai-American Chamber of Commerce of California, Thai Town Rotary Club and Thai Community Development Center (Thai CDC) with the objectives to promote stronger connections between government sectors and the communities they serve on both sides.
