Kolkata, 7 March 2025 – The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata organized a heartwarming CSR event titled “We Do Good Deeds by Heart”, inspired by the Royal Initiative of His Majesty the King of Thailand. Held at the Tiljala Shed Society for Human and Educational Development, the event was a meaningful gesture of goodwill from Thailand to support underprivileged children in Kolkata, focusing on enhancing healthcare and educational opportunities. The children expressed their gratitude through captivating cultural performances and basic self-defense demonstrations, leaving attendees moved by their resilience, creativity, and talent. The event also underscored the importance of community support, with each child receiving a warm and nutritious meal to ensure their physical well-being.

In her remarks, Consul-General Siriporn Tantipanyathep expressed her hope that the Royal Thai Consulate-General’s contribution would help support the children’s growth and future opportunities. This gesture not only strengthened the bond between Thailand and India but also highlighted the importance of collective effort in social welfare and community development. To conclude the program, a nutritious meal was provided to all the children, ensuring that each one received a warm and fulfilling lunch.
