On 23 October 2025, Miss Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata led officials in a ceremony commemorating His Majesty King Chulalongkorn The Great Memorial Day at the Consulate-General.

The Consul-General laid a wreath before His Majesty's portrait, and delivered a remembrance statement in tribute to His Majesty's significant contributions to Thailand. His Majesty’s numerous reforms laid the foundation for the nation’s progress and have been instrumental in shaping Thailand's development in the modern day.
