On 21 February 2021, H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General, together with Mr. Trit Kiriratnikom, Charge' d'affaires, Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Ms. Nantaporn Laobooncharoen, Deputy Consul-General, and officers from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai, attended an opening ceremony of Gulfood 2021. The Delegation was greeted by Mr. Panot Punyahotra, Director of Thai Trade Center, Dubai Office and Mr. Sirithep Tangsiri, Assisant Director, and met with 20 Thai entrepreneurs who showcase their products such as Thai Jasmine rice, canned tuna, beverages, seasonings and various kinds of Thai food products at the exhibition. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic which prevented many Thai entrepreneurs from travelling, the Thai exporters and the potential importers can also communicate through teleconference which has been set up at every booth at the Thai Pavilion to facilitate business opportunities and trade at this event.

Gulfood 2021 is held between 21-25 February 2021 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
