On 8 March 2025 H.E. Mr. Sathana Kasemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of Thailand to Greece, attended the Opening Ceremony of the Food Expo 2025 held between 8 – 10 March 2025 at Metropolitan Expo in Athens. The Ambassador also visited booths of the Thai companies and Greek importers of Thai products.
The Royal Thai Embassy participated in this Food Expo to exhibit and promote Thai food and food products in Greek market by collaborating with the local importer and distributer of Thai products. On this occasion, the Embassy, in cooperation with the Thai Trade Promotion Office in Milan, also promoted Thai products and restaurants awarded Thai SELECT, a quality guarantee mark from the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand. At present, there are three Thai SELECT restaurants in Greece, and two in Malta.
