On 7 October 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, chaired the 1/2567 Meeting of the Inter-Agency Working Group on the Implementation of the Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) and the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting is a part of the Ministry’s efforts to promote the whole of government and whole of society approach in migration management.

The meeting discussed preparations for Thailand’s participation in the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner's Programme (UNHCR ExCom) on 14 - 18 October 2024 in Geneva and the Asia-Pacific Regional Review of Implementation of the GCM on 4- 6 February 2024 in Bangkok.
