On 14 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, represented the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Franco - Thai Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala Dinner, held at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, attended by more than 60 Thai and French companies.

The attendees observed a moment of silence and viewed a tribute video in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother before the event commenced. The Secretary to the Foreign Minister delivered opening remarks highlighting the strong and expanding economic cooperation between Thailand and France across both public and private sectors, particularly in the fields of sustainability, green transition, clean energy, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. These collaborations serve as a key foundation for elevating bilateral ties toward a Strategic Partnership.
