On 30 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs presided over a focus-group discussion on security issues with Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Minister of Defence and Police Lieutenant General Ruththapol Naowarat, Minister of Justice on the sidelines of the Mobile Cabinet Meeting No. 1/2026 in Songkhla Province. The discussion centered on approaches to sustainably enhancing the security, well-being and safety of the people in the five southern border provinces, to be presented at a session chaired by the Prime Minister.
