On 23 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, signed the condolence book on the passing of H.E. Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, at the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Bangkok. The Foreign Minister was received by H.E. Mr. Pham Viet Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Thailand.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Ambassador expressed his utmost gratitude for His Majesty’s words of condolences extended to the President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Thai Prime Minister’s message of condolences to the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
