On 1 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, and General Songwit Noonpackdee, Chief of Defence Forces, visited Thai workers at the Moshav Bnei Atarot agricultural settlement in Tel Aviv.

The Foreign Minister inquired and was briefed on the living conditions of the Thai workers. He also encouraged them to strictly follow existing safety measures and guidelines, take care of one another, as well as bring skills acquired during their time in Israel back home for their personal development and the benefit of the country.
