On 20 February 2023, H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Alsuhaibani, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Thailand paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand on the occasion of his assumption of duty.

Both sides discussed the bilateral relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia in all areas, especially the success of the official visit to Thailand of H.R.H. Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in November 2022, ways and means to strengthen political relations through the first Saudi – Thai Coordination Council Meeting and the Roadmap to Strengthen Bilateral Relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both sides also discussed cooperation in regional and multilateral frameworks, such as ASEAN-GCC, as well as, exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
