On 11 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, on the margins of the 2nd BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in New Delhi, India.

Both sides discussed issues of common interest, especially border security and trade, and combatting transnational crimes.
