Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with the private sector of Singapore to promote economic and investment connectivity

On 22 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted a business lunch for leading representatives from Singapore’s private sector to discuss economic connectivity enhancement and investment promotions as part of his official visit to Singapore during 21 – 22 October 2025.
 
The Foreign Minister appreciated the longstanding economic partnership between Thailand and Singapore, welcoming the fact that Singapore has remained Thailand’s largest foreign investor for two consecutive years. He hoped that this positive momentum continues. Discussions focused on developing Thailand’s new growth areas in clean energy, digital industries, and high-tech innovation, and supporting Thai SMEs through regional digital platforms to enhance market access. The Foreign Minister also encouraged both sides to explore opportunities in new high growth industries such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Centres, clean energy, and e-commerce. They also exchanged views on Thailand’s economic resilience and opportunities for further collaboration.
