The Royal Thai Embassy in Buenos Aires hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand

On 3rd December 2021, the Royal Thai Embassy in Buenos Aires hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand Father’s Day at the residence of the Ambassador. Approximately 120 Honoured guests include Ambassadors, representatives of Embassies and international organisations in Buenos Aires, business representatives, and the Thai community in Argentina attended the event. 
 
Chakraphan Yuwari, Chargé d’Affaires delivered a speech in Spanish celebrating the Late King and the long standing cordial relations between Thailand and Argentina, our efforts in combating COVID-19, and Thailand’s Chairmanship of APEC 2022 under the theme of “Open. Connect. Balance.” and the BCG Economy.  The Chargé d’Affaires also spoke in support of Thai boxing (Muay Thai) entering the Olympics. 
 
On the Argentine side, Ambassador Claudio Javier ROZENCWAIG, Under Secretary of Foreign Policy attended the event on behalf of the Foreign Minister and delivered a speech highlighting the strengthening of relationships and cooperations between the two countries. On this occasion, Mr. Yuwari gifted him a pin of Thai-Argentine flags, symbolising both countries’ relations. 
 
The reception was an opportunity to promote Thai cultures, such as (1) Thai Massage, (2) presenting prizes for the winners of Thai Boxing “Wai-Kru” for both under 15 years old and above 15 years old participants, and (3) presenting delicious Thai food and the delicate art of fruit carving. 
 
The event was organised according to heath and sanitary protocols of the City of Buenos Aries
