Mr. Tharaka Balasuriya, State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, and met with Mr. Dharshana Perera, Senior Director-General, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, Colombo.

Both sides further discussed the multilateral cooperation, including the 6th BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok, the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), as well as Thailand's candidacy for the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) for the term 2025-2027.
The Sri Lankan side also expressed their appreciation to the Thai government for assisting and facilitating the safe return of eight Sri Lankan nationals who were victims of human trafficking in Myanmar.
