On 27 November 2024, Mr. Paisan Ruapanichkit, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, delivered an opening remarks at the Sixth Asia-Pacific Directors General Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation held at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok under the theme “Resilient and Sustainable Urban Development through South-South Cooperation” and was co-hosted by TICA and ESCAP.

The forum aimed to promote knowledge sharing and best practices in sustainable urban development through South-South and Triangular Cooperation. It sought to develop guidelines for urban development cooperation and strengthen relationships among ESCAP member states, which will be a significant foundation for continuing the development cooperation in the future. Over 102 representatives from 23 countries participated in the Forum.
