On 6 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the Thailand - Myanmar Business Forum 2026. The event was hosted by the Thai - Myanmar Association for Friendship under the theme “A New Chapter on Thailand - Myanmar Business Partnership” and presided over by H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, and H.E. U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The Prime Minister delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the importance of advancing Thailand - Myanmar economic cooperation, reaffirming confidence in Myanmar’s long-term economic potential, and expressing a shared commitment to building a strong and sustainable economic future together.
