On 20 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, joined H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, in one-on-one meetings with representatives of the New Zealand business sector, namely Skyline Enterprises and T&G Global, during the official visit to New Zealand in Auckland.

The Deputy Prime Minister attended both meetings, during which the meeting discussed investment opportunities in Thailand, as well as ways to promote cooperation in various areas, including research and development. The Prime Minister reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to support the said investment and cooperation. He also highlighted Thailand’s strategic advantage as a hub of the ASEAN market and its capability on logistics.
