His Excellency Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to pay an official visit to Washington, D.C. between 10-12 February 2024, at the invitation of the Honorable Antony J. Blinken, U.S. Secretary of State.

 

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister will have a bilateral meeting with the U.S. Secretary of State, to foster the long-standing Thailand – U.S. alliance and strategic partnership, covering multi-faceted cooperation. He will also meet with the Honorable Gina M. Raimondo, U.S. Secretary of Commerce and the Honorable Amos Hochstein, Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor for Energy and Investment, as well as U.S. Senators with interests in foreign policy issues and the region. On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister will also chair a meeting to give policy guidance and direction to the Team Thailand in Washington, D.C.

 

This visit will be the first official bilateral visit to the U.S. for the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs since assuming office.
