Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs accompanies Prime Minister to meet with MEDEF International and executives of leading French companies in Paris

On 25 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, together with H.E. Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, H.E. Mrs. Suphajee Suthumpun, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, to meet with MEDEF International (Mouvement des Entreprises de France International) and executives of five leading French companies: Imerys S.A., Airbus Group SE, EssilorLuxottica, IN Groupe andThales Group, in Paris, the French Republic.

 

The Prime Minister highlighted Thailand’s potential as a regional hub for industries, technology and innovation. He expressed appreciation to the French private sector for their continued trust and investment in Thailand, while French companies commended Thailand’s capacity and readiness, as seen by the various investment support measures. The Prime Minister invited these companies to invest and expand their businesses in Thailand, as they discussed ways to build cooperation in areas where Thailand has expertise. He also reaffirmed that Thailand attaches importance to new industries and high technology, clean energy, and the digital and green economy. Relevant Thai agencies, including the Board of Investment (BOI), are ready to facilitate and implement investment promotion measures in advancing Thailand as a regional and economic hub for technology and future innovation.
