On 30 June 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had discussions with H.E. Mr. Ardasher Qodiri, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Thailand with residence in Kuala Lumpur.

Both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest between Thailand and Tajikistan at the 62nd Session of the Human Rights Council, held from 15 June to 7 July 2026 in Geneva. The Ambassador of Tajikistan conveyed Tajikistan’s readiness to participate in the inaugural Thailand - Tajikistan Political Consultations, to be held in Bangkok this year, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly tourism, aviation, and culture.
