Director-General of International Organizations Department meets with Embassy of Japan to Thailand and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Thailand Office

On 21 November 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Mr. Toru Kajiwara, Minister and Chief of Economic Division, Embassy of Japan in Thailand, and representatives from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Thailand Office.

Both sides discussed cooperation between Thailand and Japan on border health, which the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organise a celebration of the International Universal Health Coverage Day in Bangkok on 9 December 2025. They also exchanged views on developments regarding Thailand's policy in allowing Myanmar Displaced Persons to work outside of the temporary shelters.
