Director-General of European Affairs Department meets with Ambassador of Belgium upon assumption of duty

On 6 October 2025, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Michel Parys, Ambassador of Belgium to Thailand upon the assumption of his duty. They discussed ways to advance bilateral relations and addressed key issues of mutual interest.

The Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Belgium have shared a long-standing relationship of over 142 years. Currently, Belgium is Thailand's 32nd trading partner, which ranks 5th among the European Union member states.
