On 24 July 2026, Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, led diplomats, staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, and their spouses in a volunteer service activity at Wat Pa Copenhagen. The participants worked together to clean the Ubosot (ordination hall), the Buddha images, and also pruned trees and tidied up various areas throughout the temple grounds.

This volunteer public service activity was held as an expression of loyalty and dedication of royal merit to His Majesty the King, on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2026. It reflects gratitude for His Majesty’s benevolence and reaffirms the institution of the Thai Monarchy as a unifying force for Thai people both in Thailand and abroad. In addition, the activity contributed to the upkeep and preservation of Buddhism by helping to maintain Wat Pa Copenhagen, which serves as a spiritual gathering place for the Thai community in Denmark.
