On 3 July 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, delivered welcoming remarks at the Closing Ceremony of the 2nd International Operational Dialogue on Countering Cyber-Scam and Forced Criminality, co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Thai Police during 28 June - 2 July 2026 in Chanthaburi Province. The event was presided over by H.E. Mr. Nikorn Soemklang, Minister of Social Development and Human Security.

The Director-General reaffirmed Thailand's commitment to promoting international cooperation against online scams. Police General Thatchai Pitaneelaboot, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, and Police Colonel Sanya Niumpradit, Deputy Superintendent of the Foreign Affairs Division, Royal Thai Police, introduced the Scam & Human-Trafficking Information Exchange and Linked Database (SHIELD), a system developed by the Royal Thai Police to support international cooperation through the exchange of data and intelligence for investigating and dismantling transnational criminal networks in a timely and effective manner, underlining the importance of information sharing in enabling the timely suppression of technology-related crime.

The Minister of Social Development and Human Security expressed appreciation to the representatives of foreign police agencies for their participation while reaffirming the readiness of the Royal Thai Government to work with all partners to counter online scams and protect all peoples from falling prey to these transnational crimes. The ceremony was attended by more than 120 participants, including ambassadors and representatives of foreign embassies in Thailand, senior officials from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Justice, and the Royal Thai Police, as well as representatives of foreign police agencies and international organizations.
