On 6 August 2024, Ms. Bacharee Puengpak, Deputy Director General, Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, led a Thai business delegation, under Latin Link project 2024, to discuss with Ms. Magdalena Benavente, Business Manager, Food Imports, Supermarkets Division, Cencosud Retail S.A., in Santiago, Chile. 

On this occasion, the Thai delegation was briefed the core business of Cencosud, a leader of retail business in Chile and several Latin American countries. Both sides also exchanged views on the prospect of Thai product market expansion in Chile and surveyed available Thai products in a Jumbo supermarket, which is one of retail businesses owned by Cencosud Retail S.A. providing customers with high quality products from around the world.
