On 10 August 2026 at 10.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra organised a merit-making ceremony on the Auspicious Occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Late Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on 12 August 2026 and Thailand’s Mother’s Day at Dhammadharo Temple.
On this occasion, Ms. Jitvipa Benjasil, Chargé d’affaires a.i., Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, presided over the ceremony including religious and merit-making activities. The ceremony was attended by Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Canberra, together with their spouses as well as members of the Thai community in Canberra and nearby areas. Venerable Phra Rajasilaporn, Abbot of Wat Dhammadharo and President of the Thai Dhammayut Sangha Council of Australia and New Zealand, the presiding Sangha, was accompanied by a monastic delegation of 6 monks residing at Wat Dhammadharo.
