On 19 March 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest organised an auspicious ceremony to receive the royally bestowed Buddha statue “Phra Phuttha Sirindhorn Theparat Mongkhol Phuwadol Santi”, by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand, before the portrait of Her Royal Highness at the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest.
H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, diplomats and spouses, as well as Team Thailand’s officials participated in this auspicious ceremony.

The Buddha statue was given to provinces and hospitals nationwide, as well as to all Thai embassies and Thai missions abroad with intention to bring peace and happiness to all Thai nationals around the world.
