On 22 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, on the sidelines of the 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings in Manila, the Philippines.

Both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation, particularly through high-level exchanges, trade and investment. They also exchanged views on regional situations, especially key developments in the situation in Myanmar, as both countries are neighbours to Myanmar.
