On 19 July 2026, Ms. Chatvadee Chindawongse, Deputy Director-General, Department of ASEAN Affairs, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting (ASEAN SOM) and the Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone Commission (SEANWFZ ExCom), held at PICC Manila, the Philippines, to prepare for the upcoming 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) and Related Meetings, scheduled to follow on 20-24 July 2026.
