H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will participate in the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat (AMM Retreat) and 32nd ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC) on 3-4 February 2023, at the ASEAN Secretariat, Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia.
The AMM Retreat is an annual Ministerial gathering at the beginning of the year. The Meeting will set out the direction of ASEAN cooperation for 2023 under the theme “ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth” and follow up the outcomes of the 40th and the 41st ASEAN Summits in Phnom Penh last year. The ASEAN Foreign Ministers will also exchange views on regional and international issues that impact ASEAN.
The ACC will follow up on pending issues and other cross-pillar and cross-sectoral issues, including Timor-Leste’s participation in the capacity as an observer in ASEAN Meetings and strengthening ASEAN’s capacity and institutional effectiveness.
