On 10 June 2021, H.E. Ms. Karntimon Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway attended the 39th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Oslo (ACO), the first ACO meeting for 2021, chaired by H.E. Mr. Le Hong Lam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Norway, at the Embassy of Vietnam in Oslo. Meeting’s participants comprised of Ambassadors and representatives of ASEAN Embassies in Oslo, namely Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

At the meeting, ACO members exchanged views and information related to the current situation of each country, especially the COVID-19 situation and vaccination progress, updated the situation in Norway and discussed work plan to promote cooperation between Norway and ASEAN. On this occasion, ACO members also congratulated Ms. Maria Elena P. Algabre, Chargé d' Affaires, a.i, of the Embassy of the Philippines who will be promoted as Ambassador of the Philippines in Ankara.
