On 14 September 2021, H.E. Mr. Chirdchu Raktabutr, Ambassador of Thailand to Italy inaugurated the event “The 2^nd Think Rice, Think Thailand” in Milan, Italy. It was organized by Thai Trade Center, Milan, in collaboration with Team Thailand in Italy namely the Royal Thai Embassy, Office of Agricultural Affairs, and Tourism Authority of Thailand in Rome.

The aim of Think Rice, Think Thailand was to increase an awareness of Thai rice, its quality and variety of products in Italy, promote rice and rice products as well as creating trade opportunity and value creation including the increased business of Thai restaurants through cooking schools, chefs, and bloggers both in physical and online platforms and provided more convenient ways for home cooking with Thai food. The event was well-received by influencers, bloggers, and interested attendees. It was also the first physical event to resume after the COVID-19 situation in Italy.
