On 16 August 2023, H.E. Mrs. Sarah Taylor, Ambassador of Canada to Thailand, paid a farewell call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, upon the completion of the Ambassador of Canada’s tenure. Both sides were pleased with progress of Thailand-Canada relations and cooperation, which have seen continuously increasing in dynamism, and exchanged views on further promoting bilateral partnerships in various areas, such as economic exchanges, people-to-people relations, as well as cooperation at the regional level.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned Mrs. Pornpimol Kanchanalak, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to host a farewell luncheon in honour of the Ambassador of Canada, in appreciation of her excellent role and contribution to enhancing Thailand – Canada relations throughout her tenure.
