On 22 October 2020, Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya led the Thai government officials and the Thai community in the UAE to pay tribute to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn in remembrance of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn’s Memorial Day 23 October. Participants laid flower vases in front of the Royal Photo followed by performing the candle-lit ceremony and held a 57-second of silence.
